They exist in nearly every major city in the US, and abroad as well. If you read my posts here, you will see that I rarely ever attack others and try to be a fair guy. But with Jews for Jesus, I cannot remain quiet.Moderator cut: orphaned)
While the organization Jews for Jesus is bad (it's a Southern Baptist creation), don't judge all Messianics that way. While yes, I'm well aware we're despised by Jews and Christians alike, and basically considered heretics, most of us who were actually born Jews do not support the Christian conversion tactics used by those groups.

Orthodox Jews focus a great deal on Olam Haba (the world to come). We make all decisions, every day, with this context in the back of our mind. I explained earlier that there are three options when you die:
1. You go straight to Olam Haba (rare, and reserved for only the greatest of sages)
2. You go to Gehinnon, where you "repair" your soul for anywhere from 1 day to 11 months, then on to Olam Haba
3. You are judged as not ready, and your soul is "recycled" into a new body, with no memory of the previous life, giving you another chance to do well enough to eventually make it to Olam Haba.
I can't tell you i know for sure what happens to the Jew who commits apostocy. My guess is option three above. What I didn't mention above, though, is there is an option 4, reserved for the worst of evil people on the planet, which is a total discarding of the soul. No Olam Haba, no gehinnon and no reincarnation. Just nothingness. We assume Hitler met this fate. I personally suspect Akmedinejab and Jimmy Carter will meet similar fates, although there is still time for both to repent.
Wow! That is very interesting. I have never known that Jews believe in reincarnation! I know it's your Sabbath now, but I'd like to ask... when a Jew is reincarnated, are they always reincarnated into another Jewish family, or do they have to find their way back?
I'm also very curious as to how you're going to answer what a typical Sabbath is like for you.
I love learning about religions. I just had a long talk today with a Muslim. Some stuff is so interesting!
Ok Flipflop, you said you believe that the first sentence in Chapter 31 of the Book of Numbers is true.
In that sentence, your god tells Moses to take full vengence upon the Midianites.
As a result, the Jews attacked the Midianites and committed a horrible atrocity. The Moderator cut: delete Jews killed all of the Midianite males, even the little babies. The Jews then killed all of the women who were not virgins. Moderator cut: delete Then Moses told the Jewsish soldiers they could keep the virgins for their own pleasure.
So I have two questions, which can easily be answered with a Yes or No:
Do you believe the description of the atrocities committed by the Jews as described in Chapter 31 of the Book of Numbers is correct?
Do you think your god approved what the Jews did?

Reason: cleaned up so it does not look so much like trolling
The old Jewish sect called Christianity...was remarkable...why do Jews in general not approve of Jesus? Even the Muslims acknowledge this old Judiac king...so why is it that Jesus the Jew is still an outcast of his own tribe...after all he was a great rabbi.
Thread has been moderated and is now reopened for discussion.. Please remain on topic of asking questions about the Jewish faith..This is NOT a debate thread Any denominational/worldview attacks will be deleted and infracted..

Judaic King?
Jesus of Nazareth failed to satisfy the Biblical prerequisites to be the Moshiach and to worship a man would be the great sin of idolatry as it violate the 2nd Mitzvah (Commandment) prohibiting the worship of other than the one, true and indivisible G-d.
