That Chabad House is ...~! That so-called Rabbi (if he is one) stripped our congregation of everything including the books that my Dad donated in memory of my Momma whose passed as well as the ones I donated when my Dad passed <tears>~! I'm not talking about a few, I'm talking about a few hundred books~! He's a damn crook and good for nothing SOB. He took so much that did not belong to him and our congregation is suffering because of him~!!!
Why didn't you donate the collection to the Jewish Community Center down the road from Chabad?
3. Claim that my voice is the voice of all Jewery: hmm, I better hold off on that one
There is no "Claim" by any of us. Numerous times in numerous threads you state "Most" and state unsubstantiated statistics. I may not know you personally, but I've been around long enough to have read your Freudian slips in your comments. There will be a day where you will have to atone for the Mitzvot you have broken.
Here is a link to a similar group to yours. This person and his followers were lets say "escorted" quietly out of the community after his true intentions were brought into the light.
Zionism is a very complex subject. In general, I agree with views on that website you quoted above. But I'm unfamiliar with that group and cannot give the site my hechsher. Now that we have a state of Israel, no matter how wrong it was of those godless socialist fools who created it, I believe Jews should defend the land and continue to hold stewardship of the land until moschiach comes, and we can reestablish the Sanhedrin. To claim we Jews are no longer in exile is simply not the truth.
By your standards the following site would be Kosher. I doubt most would agree.
Most DO agree. The complexity of Zionism is that now that the Atheist State of Modern Israel has been established, how does one react to it? Do we participate politically for the purpose of damage control, or do we ignore it completely. As for defending the land, the Gedolim--starting with the chazon ish z'l--have spoken.
Religious Zionists are a sect unto themselves, straddling the fence between Zionism and orthodox lifestyle.
I must have confused him for a different self hating Jew. Sorry for the confusion.
Yep, I did indeed confuse my self hating Jews. It wasn't Hertzle whose grandchildren all were non-Jews, it was Moses Mendelssohn, the "Father of the Reform Movement." 4 of his his 6 children became non-Jews, and all of his grandchildren (save for one) were non-Jews. 100% of his great grandchildren were non Jews - thereby destroying an entire family line of Jewish neshamos (souls). The Talmud in Mesechta Sanhedrin tells us that the destruction of one single Jewish soul is equivalent to destroying the entire world. Mendelssohn was likely cut off from Olam Haba for his contribution to the destruction of countless Jewish souls.
You folks should have been "dan l'kaf z'chus," (giving your fellow Jew the benefit of the doubt) before accusing me of making this stuff up. It was a simple confusion of one self hating Jew for another. The point was valid - proof that the leaders of the Hashkala have caused countless Jewish souls to be lost forever can be seen right within their very own families.
