As a Muslim I really enjoy the ultra orthodox community. I respect their adherence to what Allah (swt) has sent down to them. They are also typically weary of the political State of Israel and have even agreed that they would have more rights to practice and implement their religion in a Shari'a led state than Israel itself!
They are the only country in the Middle East that still has a thriving Jewish community, but Iran is a Shi'a state so I'm not quite sure how they interpret their Shari'a in the treatment of them.
However under orthodox Sunni Islamic law, Jews can and will have their own court and legal system whereby Jewish law is binding and their own elected scholars, judges and rabbi's may determine the outcome of cases. That's a lot more than is allowed in the God-less State of Israel.

As a Reform Jew, I hate the ult orthodox community they are not real Jews. I have more respect for Muslims than them.

My western pals, huh? I don't need a history lesson of the past. The question is based on the present. And while you're considering a response from Texas, I am a Mizrahi who is fluent in Levant Arabic and lives within the Arab countries of the Middle East for than half of each year.
Your original statement was in relation to Shari'a. Not in relation to Shi'a or Sunni views of Islam.
