We are now approaching numbers equal to pre-Holocaust numbers. Unbelievable as it sounds, it has taken 70 years to recover, in terms of population.

Before Hitler, there were approximately 16 million Jews worldwide, 9 million of whom were in Europe (and 2/3 of those murdered). Currently, there are approximately 15 million Jews worldwide, only around 1.4 million of those in Europe.
