Hi, does anyone have any experience with good auto repair in JoCo? I own a Honda, and would prefer to not use a dealer, unless I have to. Most dealers are overpriced and some are dishonest to make a buck. I would prefer a smaller independent repair shop that specializes in Japanese cars, is reasonably priced and is honest. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

MAC's 66 which is on metcalf around 82nd street or so.

I've taken various vehicles there over the years and they've been VERY fair and reasonable.

Once was an exhaust problem which they couldn't deal with so they referenced us to a place that did good reasonable work and didn't charge us anything.

It's on the east side of the road and looks like a run-down old service station, a total hole-in-the-wall place but don't let that scare you off.

Not sure they specialize or deal in Hondas but you could give them a call.

I had the exact same question when I moved here from out of state. Somebody recommended Christian Brothers Auto Repair to me. I've had NO complaints. Fair prices, honest people. I drive a Chrysler Sebring, but they work on any make or model. I go to the one in Olathe, you can check out their website here (http://www.cbac.com/olathe/index.html - broken link). They do have other locations, though.
