I live in midtown area and would like to use St. Luke's for my obgyn. There are two clinics in the building - A Women's Place with Dr. Bohon and then Ferns, Matile, Perryman and Moore.

Does anyone have any experience with either office?

I go to Dr. Amy Carter, DO at Ferns et al and have been very happy. I would definitely recommend her!

You'd be fine with either office, although if it were me I'd probably choose the latter office. I thought Dr. Ferns was retired, but I could be wrong. Dr. Matile is a wonderful doctor. I have seen Perryman when he was a partner of my doctor (another group of OB/GYNs at Saint Luke's) and he is good too. And I like Julie Moore too. I'd say you can't go wrong with any of the those doctors.

I love Dr Moore.. she is awesome! She was my Dr. although my pregnancy and Dr Perryman ended up delivering my daughter. Great practice!!

I did want to update my earlier post. As much as I did like Dr. Carter I ended up leaving her office for the women's health center at KU Med.

I needed to get in touch with them to have a prescription transferred -- not refilled mind you -- so that I could use Cigna's mail-order program and save myself a significant amount of money.

I got such a terrible run-around from them, dealt with extremely rude (honestly probably just overworked and understaffed) nurses and billing assistants and waited on hold for 10 and 20 minutes each time I tried to call their office. I was wildly disappointed.
