You may be thinking of One South GeoSpace Drive.

Or I may not be, as that is a private drive.

Perhaps after you sleep on it and have some breakfast you'll be able to place this mystery street!

If you were to take all of the addresses on public streets in Independence and place them in alpha-numeric order, first by number and then by street name, what address would be the very first listed?
How about 1 1st Street?

Sorry to be tardy with the answer, I was away from the net today.

The lowest numbered address in Independence (to the best of my knowledge) is

#1 Hawthorne Place. Located just off Winner Road at Overton, Hawthorne Place has a handful of houses and the Hawthorne Bed & Breakfast. I don't know how this little street ended up with its own numbering.

Today's question will be easier (I hope!).

What current major league baseball player once played on the Hi-Boy team?

Sounds like Albert Pujols, who also played at Fort Osage.

I just learned something. Maybe MRG knows this but I sure did not.

Casey Stengel was some character. The only thing I knew about him was that he managed the Yankees and then managed the Mets after being fired by the Yankees for being too old. Back in the fifties the announcers would from time to time recount the story that in his playing days he had come to bat and was booed. He lifted his hat and out flew a sparrow.

I did not particular like him but thought the sparrow bit was cool but thought he was an old curmudgeon.

Now, I learn that he was from Kansas City, was called Casey for KC and once played for the Kansas City Blues while being a dentist.
