I'm looking for a private grade school and high school for my children to attend in north Kansas City. It does not matter the faith base just one that has strong academics and offers sports. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've been researching this as well, I've come across this website, which gives you a list of the schools (there may be more than this, but this is the first one I've come across doing a Google search):

Kansas City Private Schools

Try calling Northern Hills Christian Academy in Holt MO. They are PK-8, but partner with a private highschool.

Get in touch with a realtor in the "Northland". They have formed a "Northland School Alliance" which includes not only the public schools but also the private schools. I do know St. Pius X High School is great.

Holt's a bit of a drive north of the river - it's about an hour from Front St during rush hour. St. Pius is a great school both academically and athletically.
