What are some good lofts in the River Market? I have checked with the usual places like KCLoftSpace and I can't use Old Town Lofts because of their income restrictions. I am looking to spend anywhere from $800-1000. I need a 1 br,1ba and probably at least 800 sq. ft. Any suggestions?

I was there a few weeks ago looking at lofts in that area and was most impressed with Market Station. Market Station, however, is not loft style living, more of a higher end, new apartment complex. Very nice, but again, not lofts. Also, might be a little more expensive if you need at least 800 sq. ft. Worth a look though.

So you have looked at Old Townley Lofts and the Richards and Conover Lofts with KCLoftSpace?? I saw these and frankly was not all that impressed, but that's just me. I know lofts are supposed to feel like, well lofts, but I thought it was a little more rundown than I wanted. However, I know some of the places are being renovated, new floors and paint.

Are you set on the River Market area? My favorite lofts that I looked at were just south of the downtown area in Crossroads. The buildings were called the Piper Lofts and Windows Lofts, both owned by Blue Urban. Very nice, rooftop pools, workout rooms, big lofts, lots of light; overall very high end lofts.
