If I had a dollar for every time KC was called Kansas on the internet, I would be a millionaire!

I'm pretty used to Kansas taking credit for the cool stuff about KCMO and KCMO taking credit for the stereotypical image of Kansas. Kinda messed up, but it is what it is.

But no, this doesn't bother me. People in Chicago should know where KC is, but I'll give people in Australia a free pass.

As someone that is a huge soccer fan, I see Kansas City get called Kansas all the time in articles written all over the world about Sporting Kansas City/Kansas City Wizards. In fact, I do not think I have ever seen an article written in another country about the team other than Canada or Mexico that said Missouri in it. I know the team plays in Kansas now but the team used to be Kansas Wizards to the entire world.
