Not being a great people person myself, I sympathize. I don't think I'd like that kind of life full time, but it would be nice to go to some place like the Alaskan wilderness to clear the head. Far away from people, traffic, lights, noise... some place where there's no chance at all of encountering any of that.

Have you read the Alaska forum at all? It's very expensive there, how do you plan to make a living? I don't think you have researched or thought this plan out at all. It you do plan to go, have a good plan and enough cash to live on until you find work.
