Excellent article. In my job, I talk to people from all over the world, and you wouldn't believe the narrow minded view of KC that folks have. Most people think it's Arrowhead stadium plus a few farms and dirt roads. It's so much more then people give it credit for. Yes, KC has its problems and some run down areas, but every metro area does. I think KC is a world class city that deserves recognition.

Actually, you put "(or move to)" on your post.

Kansas City hosts the largest 1-day music festival in the USA.

Rockfest KC is every year, usually in May. This year, it's Saturday May 31 at the Liberty Memorial.

55,000+ people with 15 bands across 2 stages.

Kansas City also has a new zipline this year. The only one in the KC area right now.

Adventure Zip KC

Cool, didn't know there was a zipline park in the KC area now. Those are a lot of fun.
