I was wondering if anyone here knows where in the Kansas city area is a grocery store with a good bulk foods section. I don't mean the Costco 10 lb bottle of ketchup kind of bulk but the dry goods with the bins that you scoop into a bag kind of bulk foods. Seriously I've lived here over a year and can't find a store with a good bulk foods section. Any suggestions would be appreciated and bonus points go to any stores east of KC as I live in Blue Springs.

I get granola in bulk at Whole Foods sometimes. The new Fresh Market store has peanut and almond butter in bulk. I remember seeing cookies available in bulk years ago, but haven't seen them for that long. What items are you thinking of being able to get in bulk?

There is a Natural Grocer, but it's in Overland Park, not near Blue Springs. My HyVee's organic section also has bins where you can weigh out dry goods in bulk. Not all do, though...not sure about the HyVee in Blue Springs.

What about Nature's Pantry in Independence? Checked out their reviews on Yelp, generally positive, and their are a few photos posted of the store's bulk area. Looks to be fairly large.
