Greetings and salutations Kansas Citians!

I am a homeowner of about 3 years now and have a question about the flooring I have.

They took some walls out and did this to the floor - which is still functional - but aesthetically/superficially....I do not care for it anymore.

Is their something I can do to make it more palatable? Suggestions?

I am thinking of trying to find matching wood and laying it in and matching it, but...that's my thought..

Thank you all in advance.

I am glad to have found this website - it is a nice forum of community.
