Yay! Incentives!

Good brand but it should be taller. Why not stack the two sides and have one 40 story tower?

Westport Square Manor passes city planning, goes to City Council.

This is a 7-9 story development near the Sunfresh grocery. It will have 215 apartments and 120 room hotel plus 47,750 sq ft of retail and office. The project also incorporates the existing Char Bar restaurant.

This project is not seeking any incentives.

View from parking garage rooftop park.

This is in addition to another project in Westport (shown below) that was also approved. The 256 unit six story apartment building at Westport and Broadway with ground floor retail. That project also will not be seeking any incentives

https://cityscenekc.com/historic-pic...grand-opening/

This is a really cool project. After decades of sitting under used or vacant, East 9 officially opens up this week.

This historic bus terminal, office building and hotel complex is now 260 apartments. The development also includes a UPS Store, a City Gym and a Wine bar. It's already 70% leased.

This is a fascinating restoration and re-purposing of one of KC's largest historic buildings and well worth the incentives needed to make it happen.
