I was driving through Beacon Hill on Saturday and there's just a ton of activity there. They've started clearing for those apartments they're building along Troost, but it looks like there's a whole bunch other stuff going on. And they're FINALLY restarting up work again on the Colonnade apartments along 27th.

We've got to let this go. I get it that we should have built downtown and all, but they decided to build at the former Bannister Mall site, and that's that. Nothing we can do about it. Wishing "what could have been" won't change anything. The good news, is that the Berkley site is being redeveloped, it will look completely different in about 5-10 years. I'm looking forward to seeing it happen!!

These pics look incredibly idyllic and would be awesome for the area. Just imagine the increase in infrastructure that the current I-670 area would need to accommodate the extra traffic though. What a mess that would be.

Copaken Brooks is proposing a 14-story apartment tower at 18th and Walnut. Copaken is currently building the 12-story ARTerra project going up at 2100 Wyandotte.

Copaken said his firm would like to break ground on the apartment tower before the end of the year with completion anticipated in the winter of 2019-20

Is Copaken Brooks finally waking up?
