KC residents sure have a thing about parking close to their ultimate destination. It is as if something makes it difficult for them to walk distances that people in other cities seem to take in stride. I wonder what that could be???

I'm really liking the vibe of this tower. I hope it keeps close to this rendering in the final product. More than have one new big traditional skyscraper, I'd love for downtown and the crossroads to fill up with mid rise projects that are show piece's, unique, and elegant. What makes our skyline great is the diversity in architecture and with KC have a rich history in art and architecture that's a great way to make us unique.
That said, I'd take a nice really tall building as well.

Its laziness. Also, its part of being a midwesterner (born and raised one). We tend to have a NIMBY attitude. It is similar to Milwaukee and the residents having an issue with the new streetcar (the hop).

I have not posted here in a while, but thought I would mention that Downtown KCMO has three major office project that seem to be quickly working their way to start construction.

I am finally exicted to see tangible movement on new airport terminal starting with demolition. Way overdue! Meanwhile, there are still grumpy people wasting time by complaining about the new terminal. Besides the news on airport terminal, I am hearing more talks in trying to get the Hyperloop in Missouri. If Missouri does get the Hyperloop, it makes Kansas City even more exciting!
