Why do people think that KC "wouldn't" be just as accepting to gay and interracial couples as just about any other city out there.
From what I have heard, KC has one of the largest gay communities in the country (for what that's worth).
And come on, interracial dating? Are you kidding me? KC is not some inbred small town or something. It's a big city. There might be a few little burbs around town that wouldn't be the best place for it, but the same can be said about the little rural towns around any city.
I would think that very very few would even give an interracial couple a second look in the built up areas of the metro.
If you are gay or are an interracial couple, you will be fine in KC.

No problems. I have a bi racial grandson. But inter racial dating is very common in this area. We raised our kids to be very open and to not see color in people.
