I'm from Missouri but currently living in CA. I have a job interview for St Luke's Hospital on Barry Rd (Skype only so not there to check out the area). I'm really looking for a long term home for my family and it has to be a safe area. I'm doing some research but having a hard time finding good info. Can anyone tell me if this area in general is considered a safer or more unsafe area of KC? It's by the Platte Woods/Parkville area. Thanks in advance!

Totally safe. I went to high school at Park Hill. One of the more affluent suburbs in the metro honestly.
