I just wanted to show off Kansas City, MO. Most people don't realize what the city looks like and here are some shots of the downtown area along with a couple of shots of the midtown area.

All of these photos were taken by me, so there is no copyright issue.

So, what do you think of KC's skyline?

cool, I thought people would like it .

Here is a photo of Kansas City, KS. KCMO is in the background along the horizon.

Again, most people don't know much about KC or KCK.

Anybody ever been to KC or KCK?

For the record, Metro KC is about 2.1 million people. People refer to KCMO as just KC and KCKS as KCK. Sometimes KCMO is also called KCMO as well. But KCK is always followed with a K or Kansas, always. KCMO has about 450,000 people (the city thinks it's more like 520,000 and will soon challenge the census). KCK has about 150,000.

The MO side has about 1.2 million and the KS side has about 900,000. There are over 2.6 million people within an hour do downtown KC as the city has "satilite" cities like Lawrence and St Joeseph close by.

Again, here is a photo of KCK.

It is quite average at best. The skyline features way too many industrial brick buildings and not enough modern skyscrapers.
