I hate to see the stockyards torn down. I remember going there when I was a kid, I can still hear all those cows like they knew what was going on. We have been calling Sprint Arena the Fishbowl. Have not been overly fond of the new buildings downtown. I hope what they are building in the stockyard area will be better than the KCStar bldg and the arena, which is going to become an albatross for the city. Will have to take a look at the stockyards area tomorrow when I drive by there.
