Can anybody tell me who owned the oil refinery that once existed at Geneseo, Kansas? During the early part of the 20th century this was apparently a large part of the town's economy. Today it sounds like they can't keep the gas station open.

A number of years ago I remember Geneseo as a wonderful little town, everyone seemed so friendly. I loved to go there. We Broadcast ball games from the school there on the radio station at Lyons 30 years ago. Had a good friend at the Bank there also. Wonder what happened to him?
