Non-student apartment in Lawrence (Lane: apartment complexes, to rent, professionals)

New faculty moving to Lawrence, looking for a small apartment to rent until we sell our house. Does anyone know which apartment complexes or buildings are populated by professionals or even grad students? I'd like to avoid undergrad student housing if we can. Thanks--

Students populate all of them; you won't have much luck completely escaping undergrads. The farther west you go, the fewer students you'll probably encounter. Some buildings are better than others.

Avoid anything operated by First Management. I hear a large amount of complaints about that company.

Although my friend never had any problems, you should probably avoid the apartments around 24th St., from Murphy to Ridge Ct. to Ousdahl. The clientele is less than desirable. The same goes for the apartments on Redbud Lane.
