We're planing on moving to Lawrence by April, but we're having a difficult time finding a home that fits our needs. If there are any Lawrence folks who frequent this site, could you please dm me with rental management links? We are looking for single family homes to consider, no apartments.

Thank you.

What is your price range? Cause it can get pretty pricey here. There are a ton of apartments, but town homes are also pretty nice, you'll still have a yard and all that.
But if a house is what you want your are going to be looking at 800-1400 a month rent.

We found a house for 1300. What sucks is that most rentals listed, are available Aug. 1st.

Yea, that's because that's when student's move in and out. It can be hard to find a place any other time.

Yes Aug 1st is when most will be open but that is a good thing for you. Use that to bargain when you find a place that is open. The landlord will know it very well could sit empty until then so you can get a place a lot cheaper. If you head down Bob Billings you will be able to find something up in the neighborhoods roughly 5 blocks off of Iowa.
Keep checking craigslist and I think they have a site called Larryville.
