Need Help - Doing Questionnaire (crime, school, college)

Hi guys, I'm an 18 year old female from the United Kingdom and I am currently doing a project for college. I have to choose a topic and compare my country with another country/state in the World. I have decided to compare Wales with Kansas as they have a similar population of around 3 million people.

The hypothesis in this study is that most young females have a higher fear of being assaulted than is the actual risk of being assaulted.

There are certain criteria which the respondants would need to meet:

> Must be female
> Must be between 16 and 31, the younger the better

All answers will remain anonymous and if you would be willing to participate but would not like your answers shown on here, you can email me your answers at [email]jess.s@fsmail.net[/email]

I have attached the questionnaire (sorry that it's not very easy to see) so if you'd like to answer then you can answer on that or just fill it in like this:

1. Female
2. 16 - 19
3. White British
4. Village
5. Student full time, working part time
6. Yes

And so on.
I need at least 30 people to fill it in, but more than that is fine too!

FYI - I think your school project would be more impressive if you just went to the FBI crime statistics or the KS crime statistics. With a survey of 30 people you have absolutely ZERO statistical credibility to your study.

You could flesh out some of the rest by searching for rassmussen or other polls taken on womens attitudes. (Pew is another polling org)

The other unknown variable would of course be under-reporting of assault which your anonymous survey would attempt to correct for but you are going to need closer to 1000 surveys filled out.
