Brownback is only screwing Kansas, if indeed he is that bad. Sebelius on the other hand, is screwing the whole country. No one should miss her.

For an opposing point of view about Governor Brownback, see this Forbes article:

Forbes is not a balanced source as the Pitch has never been classified as a "liberal" source of opinion pieces. If you actually read the article, the prevailing overarching agenda of Brownback is obvious and the public doesn't like it as he has a sub 35% approval rating.

The Pitch article doesn't mention that most of the cuts to mental health were made by the Democratic governor, Mark Parkinson, in 2009 and 2010. Brownback became governor in 2011 and Parkinson had already made deep cuts in Medicaid.
He also had already made fairly substantial reductions in the number of State of Kansas employees. He had to do so in order to balance the state budget during the recession. The Forbes article gives credit to Brownback for what is really just the state very slowly recovering from the recession.

Neither article is even close to being balanced As someone who hates the far left and the far right, they both read like trash to me. Unfortunately, unbiased articles full of facts and hard numbers don't seem to exist.

I don't know why it bothers you so much. You are always complaining about Brownback, and you haven't even lived here for a long time.

Ditto what someone else said about Sebelius. I hope she doesn't get fired and come back to Kansas. Well, I hope she gets fired, but I hope she doesn't come back to Kansas.

Well, way too many power hungry politicians out for more control regardless of political ideology. I would agree with that... With that being said, I don't think Brownback is doing ANYTHING to improve the overall image of the state or to attract new businesses and people to move into the state. Low taxes and low COL only go so far when stiff competition exists in many other states and countries.

So you think life quality is improved by attracting new businesses and people to move into the state? Seriously?

Well, then....California should be the ultimate paradise, shouldn't it? As opposed to the nightmare it has become. Kansans know better.
