Anyway - Cimmaron is a nice town - I have family/friends there. I don't know about the housing though... I know of a Facebook page - that has rentals for surrounding areas of Dodge City.. Not sure if I'm allowed to post it here...
I do pop up whenever I get an email notification from the Retail Thread!

Thought I Recognized your name. Hah..

Md - I would try dodgecityhousing.com Not sure if it was posted already OR Dodge City / Ford Country Rentals - Facebook page

Surrounding towns have cheaper rentals as well.. Few options to look into...

Kansas is in the MIDDLE of the country, you cannot cross the country to get there.

Any information you can supply me on Dodge City, KS, would be helpful. I have a phone interview for a job at the hospital early next week. Sounds fairly promising to get the job if I do well on the interview. Is Dodge City a decent place ta live? Anything aggravating or annoying about the place?

Actually, Dodge City WILL HAVE some similarities to Moses Lake in terms of population demographics (majority/minority area), ag based economy so it might not be a culture shock to you. It is quite isolated, better variety of shopping is found in Garden City. Weather is on the side of being breezy/windy all the time with torrid heat in the Summer and cold and windy in the Winter. Less green vegetation even compared to the semi-arid side of Washington, and sun much stronger due to lower latitude (37N), compared to WA (47N). North side of city is somewhat better, avoid the south side. Cimarron would be a town to look into a short distance away if you want to be a bit removed from town.

Thank you, GraniteStater. I appreciated the information. The weather sounds like it's a bit more extreme in the hot and cold side. I'll also check out Cimarron for a place ta live outside of Dodge City, if it looks more promising.
