Stumbled across this old Johnny Carson clip from the 80's where he interviews a 100-year-old woman from Kansas. Didn't know where to share this, but thought some people from Kansas (myself included) might enjoy this.

Thanks for postiong. That's real cool. Johnny could interview anyone and make it enjoyable to watch. She's got a ton of pep for 105. I loved that she was drinking a highball. Even the commercials were interesting. I actually remembered a few of them like the Eagle snacks with the odd couple guys.

What a woman! Did you notice her skin and how sharp her mind was? I was shocked she had an 80 year old son & a 46 year old daughter. I was hoping for more info about her lifestyle, but really enjoyed watching. Thanks OP for sharing.

Nice clip. I bet this lady was a real gem in her community. A sense of humor is a real asset in getting older.

Must have been a granddaughter who was 46 unless she had a daughter when she was 59. I wonder how old she lived to be.

Johnny was a Midwester-ner, wasn't he? Nebraskan?

If I remember correctly, he was born in Iowa and the family moved to Norfolk, NE when he was a boy. He also attended the University of Nebraska.

I was wondering how long she lived, thanks for the info!

She sure didn't look 105, and how many even in their 90s look that good, and with a gorgeous full head of hair!
