I'm curious what people are thinking of the current Supreme Court Justices vote. I'll provide a couple links to show opinions on voting "yes" or "no".

Vote 'yes' to retain Kansas Supreme Court justices | Editorials | hutchnews.com

Vote NO on retaining judges who ignore Constitution | Opinion | ctnewsonline.com

I will most likely vote "yes" on retaining the judges as I do worry about keeping the Supreme Court separate, but equal from the executive branch. Not that I'm a big supporter of the current justices, but I do worry if Brownback is allowed to pick 5 new justices, they will just act as puppets for him. The legislature already does basically anything he asks for, so I would like at least one branch to show some resistance and a differing viewpoint.

What are your guys reasons for voting your way, or maybe you can convince me I am wrong.

I'll be voting yes.

Quite simply, I like having a court that will stand up to the governor\legislature if they are violating the law.

Why thank you for the links, I will forward them to my extended family. If the "no" votes win you guys will be looking forward to another "great experiment." Hopefully that will not be the case...

I honestly don't know how the vote will go. There are tons of yard signs promoting voting yes or no. More signs for this then any candidate.
