So happy to see the KS legislature finally using some common sense and rebuking this train wreck of a governor. What would be really scary would be if POTUS gives him a bigger laboratory inside the swamp to run more guaranteed-to-fail budget experiments. Good grief.

Isn't he still in talks for some ill-advised State Dept. position under Trump, anyway?

Oh, I don't know. One can hope, anyway. There does seem to be a strong spirit of we-can-do-better-than-this at the few town halls i have attended, and those were mostly filled with mainstream KS republicans. Even they are kind of upset about the fiscal situation. My guess is we get a more pragmatic approach with whoever backfills for Mr Brownback.

I dunno, they elected Brownback 2x.

And I've yet to attend a town hall that an elected official actually showed up for, so that doesnt inspire much confidence.

Why is this in the KCMO forum?
Go put it in the Kansas forum where it belongs under Toe-peek-er or Wicht-ta or whatever.

While I agree that this is the wrong place to have posted this thread, I don't think the jab at the end was necessary.

Because it is an issue that has profound impact on our local area, like the schools. But that's cool if the moderator wants to move it, by all means go ahead.

No it's not. It is about kansas exclusively and doesn't belong in this forum.
It should be deleted or moved to the kansas state forum.
