On my travels across the country I sometimes travel through Kansas. This is a song I listen to sometimes when traveling through Kansas, it seems to suit Kansas perfectly well.

And when I get married I’ll be wed in Kansas...
This is the one I would choose. We used to sing it in grade school growing up in Kansas.
We also sang a song that went “In eighteen hundred sixty one, 100 years ago, there lived a little skunk that rose to fame. He lived out west in Kansas with the deer and buffalo.
