Well, considering what we white guys did to the native americans when we invaded their country, I suspect we have little room to point fingers at anyone.

In Chicago we don't worry too much about illegal mexicans (some polish and irish too) as we are more concerned about paying for the non-working types that were born here.

I would rather deal with working mexicans (legal or not) than people who were born here and have been living off the taxpayer since they were born.

The issues associated with illegal mexicans are nothing compared with what we see on the south and west sides of chicago in predominately black neighborhoods.

I do not like paying food stamps and free medical for the kids of illegals but at least you are not paying for sect 8 and welfare in addition to food stamps and free medical for non-working people born here.

Guess what? Before the illegal explosion there were ALWAYS people here to do those jobs! Sometimes they were LEGAL immigrants and others were people with little job skills. I can remember working in restaurants when dishwashers were either adults with limited employable skills, or teenagers.

I don't know what the less skilled do for work anymore. Perhaps a fraction of them are out on the streets.

There is only one reason why Hispanics, or more specifically Mexicans, are the greatest population of illegal aliens in this country. Because they can.

If others could gain access to our country as easily as they can, we would be inundated.

Funny thing, though, we don't seem to have a massive invasion of Canadians from the northern side. You would think we would, what with their terrible "socialist" government and supposedly "horrible" national health care system. You would think they would want to come down here to the U.S., so they can join our state-of-the art, thousands of dollars out-of-pocket for each family per year so your doctor can get a new Mercedes Benz, superior health care system and all.

My friend who is an AMERICAN of Mexican heritage, is MUCH tougher on illegals than I am, and she thinks that they should ALL be deported immediately, even if it means death in the piece of crap nation that they escaped from.

Come here LEGALLY, OBEY the laws, and learn the language, and dont try to change this nation to be like the crappy nation that you escaped from, . . .

In some respects, this Mexican invasion is also a Native American invasion.

The vast majority of Mexicans come in varying proportions, some carry as much as 100% Native American/Indian blood. Some 90-80-70-60-50-40% or less. And there's also the pure Spanish types, which you see in a higher proportion if you've ever been to "whiter" Monterrey.

And there's also some Jewish blood mixed with a number of them.

Mexico never bothered to create Indian reservations, the strongest Indian stronghold being in Chiapas, close to the Guatemala border.

But if you ever want to bring a Mexican to violence, just call them an Indian sometime. Keep your boxing gloves handy if you do! That the worst insult a Mexican can suffer!

I don't know if the Mexican Invasion is really a native American invasion. Not all mexicans are native american. And really the land in the southwest once belonged to native americans 1st, than the spanish and mexicans took it over.
