Hi all, we need jobs jobs jobs. My husband is working in the construction industry and now the weather is wet, he will miss the day's job, and on wages, no job no pay. We already trying hard to paying basic bills. But it will get worse during the winter - snow or rain, no construction work, no pay, we are in trouble.
My husband cannot ask for unemployment because they said my husband got an overlap of $1000 previously while he was on and off job last year. The home economic dept wants it back first. How can broke people like my husband go pay this 1,000??
Anyway do anyone knows about any job available or can offer him a job during cold wet days? He is hardworking, honest, that's all he has.

I'm sorry to hear you and your husband are struggling. I do hope things get better.

As for posting here and asking about jobs, it would be helpful if you said where you live. Kansas is a big state!

My husband worked a seasonal job when we first got married. During the winter months, he would take a temporary job with UPS. They often hire temporary workers for the holiday season.

If I think of something else, I will post again,

Best of luck to you!!
