Did anyone hear the "boom" from the meteor in Wisconsin?
I was asleep in bed. A loud "BOOM" woke me up and I thought I felt a shake.
Thinking I must have been dreaming I went back to sleep. The next morning I hear about the meteor.

You probably heard a different boom since that is well over 400miles away in a straight line. (ie. Power transformer)

My family lives within about 40miles of where that went on and didn't mention any major noise.

It's possible, although St. Louis is quite a bit closer to where all that went down. However, atmospheric conditions would be the key factor.

I saw something similar to that when I was maybe 7 years old in that same area and it was really cool.
