Hi,

I have been trying to find sites that list farm rentals or homes with acerage for rent. I have been having some trouble and I was wondering if anybody knew a good place to look. I am thinking about the Frankfort area.

Thanks!

That would be a rare find ... I don't know of anyone that would rent a farm out. But there might be, good luck with it. How many acres are you talking about? Technically it's not a farm until it's over 10+ acres.

You could try landandfarm.com, they have a wanted section, you might be able to post an inquiry on there.

Newspaper classifieds have acreage/land sections--and most newspapers have those available to view online, so find out the name of the newspapers in the area you are hoping to live, and start looking on their sites and/or subscribing to the papers. ALSO call the local real estate agencies and rental management agencies. Good luck. My grandmother used to rent out a 20 acre farm in Eastern Washington--so I know it is possible to find them, just rare. Good luck.

You could also check with the soil conservation office in the county you're wanting to check on too.
