I have the opportunity to relocate from RI to Georgetown, KY. I am researching the job market in KY and the overall best place to rent.

Georgetown is roughly 12 miles from Lexington via Interstate 75. Georgetown is in Scott county which is a dry county (No alcohol sales) so you will have to drive to the Fayette county line to get alcohol.

One minor update. In 2003, Georgetown/Scott County became "moist." This means that certain sized restaurants can and do serve alcohol. There are no stand-alone bars or package sales.
