My 25 yr old daughter has a job possibility in Paducah. Any help in general areas to look for apartment rental to commute to downtown that is safe and age appropriate. We are visiting soon and could use some areas to start our search online.
Thanks

I would look at either apartments in the Lowertown area, or West Park Village on the southwest edge of the mall area. Everything else is iffy, and on a case to case basis neighborhood wise. Other than West Park, most complexes seem predominantly Section 8 housing.

Boy that's a ringing endorsement for Paducah...lol Sad, but it's true.

I just moved down and got an apartment at West Park. I agree with the above about the apartment issue here in Paducah...I drove around and barely got this one. Fox Harbor was recommended to me, but it is the same price as West Park and does not appear as nice.
Point of View Properties looked real nice but they didn't have any openings and Quail Run was recommended pretty frequently but again no openings.

Default Apt. Listings

Contact the Paducah Renaissance Alliance, 270.444.8649. They have a listing of apartments and other rental property in both downtown and the LowerTown Arts District. You can check the organization out at their website, www.paducahalliance.org.

Thanks for the help. We heard good things about West Park and Quail Run too.
