Hello, I will be moving out of my parents house this new year and I need to get an ideal how much it's going to cost me utilities wise. Just want to know some averages for the things below.

For a apartment around 564sq.ft heat is included.

1) Electric bill?
2) Water bill?
3) Telephone bill with no frills? I might bundle digital phone and Roadrunner, but we'll see.

I know these are very general and depends on a lot of factors, but just want to see what this is like.

Electric bill: As low as $25 in fall if you conserve wisely to more than $120 in winter.

Water bill: Again, depends on conservation. Could be as low as $20, as much as $80 typically if you run Niagara Falls.

Telephone bills: Cell, $45 w/ basic contract. Land line, $45, but who has that anymore? Bundle including cable (which typically is what people will do) will be in the $100-150 range

I had a $500 electric bill in both January and February. Yep, I was not happy.

Call your prospective landlord and ask - typically they can provide you with a range - and call your telecom/cable provider - as they, at times, offer specials for 1st time installs
