Online petitions are a waste of time. Say you're number one on the petition. You tell 10 people about it and they sign the petition. That's 10 number 2s. They tell 10 each. There's 100 number 3s. And so on and so on.

Don't we pay some of the lowest electric rates in the country? I just got my bill today from WKRECC. $133 for 34 days, $18 of which is a security light. I'm more than happy with my rates.

Rates in the Ohio Valley are artificially low due to the insane concentration of coal burning power plants that are very old and grandfathered in. Consumers will pay the externalized costs down the road when all of these plants need cleaning up, closed, retrofitted, etc, as well as the mountains of coal ash waste. Time to start investing more heavily in wind energy.
