He's been working hard to keep the campaigner-in-chief from being re-elected.

Your state is in such great shape that Mitch can spend all his time finding ways to get that black dude out of the White House.

Nice.

No, it isn't but for some people getting rid of Obama is the most important thing of all. And that's just politics. My personal opinion is that all politicians are the scum of the earth.

If Obama had come out with the same deal this week as Mr. Mitch wanted, Mr. Mitch would have pushed for just the opposite. Just because the black man in the White House wanted it.

Well, if you consider keeping Fort Knox open and even thriving good, I'd give him that one. If you consider reinforcing Ft. Campbell good, I'd give him another chip. If you consider that Kentucky is still a net-tax positive state (meaning more tax dollars coming in than going out), he'd get one more. If you consider that our high sulfur coal is still being burnt in the face of overwhelming EPA condemnation, that would be another....

Yeah, I kinda feel that he's worth far more to this state than any replacement we could find right now.

Are you suggesting the whole of Kentucky should be like the idiots of Louisville who voted out the Congresswoman who would be the chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee in this Congress rather than the bumbling Obama-chrony currently holding (but certainly not representing) the 3rd district?

Well "said" / put / written Mr. Tom.........couldn't have stated it better. Those in Louisville will never understand it, but I have always said that Mr. McConnell is probably one of the best things to happen to KY.

No, the burning of high sulfur coal is certainly nothing to be proud of and Kentucky must move beyond coal like most of the rest of the US. The Ohio Valley is a non-containment region for not meeting the Clean Air Act and geographic components are just one piece of the pie.
