Make sure you do this when the neighbor is either sleeping or not home. Both times it took less than 30 minutes for the hoops to disappear. If they want to spend the money to buy another one, wait a week and do it again. They are pretty expensive and both times the nuisance neighbors didn’t even try and replace it. Don’t even try and compromise, it never works. You’re welcome.

In some circles, such acts could be harmful to your health. Not to mention you could get a butt whopin of epic proportions.

Hey, Don't get me wrong.. I love basketball and I am all about kids/teens playing outside especially team sports.. but non-stop basketball will drive a person insane.
Trust me, I know!
Reading these posts is making me see both sides of this but some people just don't get it.
Great ,"5callmemommy" you got your nice custom home with your own basketball court you planned out and spent big $$ on it all , i understand

But ,"5callmemommy" that **** on everyone attitude really sucks and you truly have no clue unless you have been on the other side if the fence..
What makes you think you're "above" everyone else?
Consider putting yourself in your next door neighbors shoes. Not the guys across or down the street...

That would drive me totally insane............I would spend a weekend or two fully soundproofing at least one room that I could run to for refuge from that irritation noise.
