Hi,

My husband's job is causing us to be relocated to the area around/in Florence. We are currently in Massachusetts. We have 5 children, high school to elementary. We also have a small dog and two cats. Due to the lovely housing market, we will sell our house and just break even (due to his company covering the loss). Because of this, we will not have a down payment for a while. Not wanting to have a screwy loan(s) or pay PMI, we are considering some kind of "rent now/buy later" idea.

We were looking in Florence, until his cousin who lives in Hebron said Boone County HS is not good, and we should strongly consider Ryle HS. Well, the HS kids looked at the website and like Ryle HS now. Union seems like a nice enough place, although there don't seem to be any houses for rent. We need a big house (4 bedroom minimum), and having spent the last 8 years fixing this house to where it is finally looking nice, I want a house that is "move in ready" and does not need anything updated.

Can anyone recommend a real estate agent that might be able to help us? We are coming out for a "scout it out" visit in late August paid for by the company. Then we wait for our house here to sell before we can actually move. It is ok to PM me, if posting people's real names is not allowed.

Also, feedback on the area is always appreciated.

I don't have a suggestion, just a warning- stay away from Mike Parker. Our friends had a horrible time working with him.
