my DH & I are making a 5 year plan to buy a farm that will also be a bed & breakfast & we plan to use solar energy. We need an area that draws tourists-big parks, zoo's, cultural attractions.
What do you know about the horse cave area?
We are planning a trip to TN to check out areas there but I'm wondering if I should add Kentucky to my list.

Very, very rural. If you are interested in caves and a recreation area centered around that sort of thing it would be shangri la for you. Cultural amenities are few and far between in that area. If you you are looking for sophistication try the countryside around Franklin,Tenn. There a country store usually doubles as a wine bar. You might bump into Tom Cruise, Pam Anderson, or Faith Hill in a pair of $2000.00 boots. Horse Cave is a fine area but stop at a country store there and you'll get farmer Bob and a bologna sandwich.

Be nice to farmer Bob. He's probably retired from the KSP.
