I will be heading to Leslie County hopefully in a few days.
I know I have missed the leaf peak season but I will be spending a day just to check things out in the area.

I plan on traveling around from Hazard south and I would love to see any unique structures that make up the Kentucky landscape.

I know in Hazard I want to see the house shaped like a shoe and the two story McDonalds if it still exists, if they are around I would like to check out one room school houses, and covered bridges, but is there anything else I should plan on checking out?

Sunny, there are very few covered bridges left in Kentucky because our highway and road system has leaped over so many states that used to laugh at the low quality of Kentucky roads. We haven't had a one room school since we learned proper grammar.
