To the OP, I hope your moving plans are going well! I moved to my current house 2 years ago and I STILL have boxes I have never gone through. If I ever move again, I swear I will downsize first!!

I haven't been to Kentucky in quite awhile -- the little town where my dad grew up (and is buried, he died when I was a kid) has a festival every summer and I keep thinking one year I will make it.
Karen,
I would just ignore her, maybe she will just go somewhere else and be an a$$!!

We're moving ahead at a pretty quick clip! Had our home inspection last Friday, nothing surprising there, should be good to go. We have already started the "downsizing" process... we talked about it, does that count??

MO

Not yet! We are waiting for the Title company to set the closing date! We are being told it will probably happen around 8/15! We are excited to get this home closed so it is done! We will not be making the hard move until fall of 2015. We will be going down to do some things to the house to "make it ours"! We are pulling up most of the carpeting, although it is newer, we want hardwood floors in most of the house, etc.! The year will give us the time to get things the way we want them, so when we actually move in it will be done!

I hate to rush time by at our age, BUT, we can't wait!!!
