I LOVE EVERY PICTURE HERE! I grew up in Nicholasville and then moved to Lexington. We now live in VA Beach VA. I've used a couple of these pics for my screen saver here at work. When customers ask me where that picture is from , I PROUDLY say from my homestate of Kentucky!

Cool letting my fingers do the walking.....

Hubby and I are interested in Kentucky weather. How much snow and ice does winter bring in southern Kentucky? and do the rains you get become all day rains or just a short shower? We are looking for the 4 seasons but want to get rid of our snowblower. Can anyone suggest a smaller town in southern Kentucky that has alot going for it? we will be leaving our Michigan next year and I have been searching the internet. We like the Hendersonville/Asheville NC area, but think it may be a little too hot in summer for us. Its really hard to pick up and move to a place you know nothing about. We would probably have to rent for a while till we find a house.
Any input would be appreciated.

~Thanks !

MrsCLO, the rains are all day rains, short showers, and all week rains. Plenty of each.
