I would like any feed back of moving into Clark county Kentucky area that may be helpful as in jobs, schools and crime rate what's a great area to raise kids and be safe and peaceful looking to move in the next couple of months!
Clark County is beautiful and is still in the Bluegrass area. As far as topography goes, the northwest area of the county is less "lumpy" than the more southern area, which is closer to the mountains. Winchester is it's main town where there are all sorts of shopping options along the bypass, several festivals a year, and lots of history!!
Where are you moving from? If it's fairly close, you may want to plan a visit to the area!

All the towns outside Lexington are pretty nice and have good amounts of shopping and a variety of housing styles. Winchester is a good place, nice Victorian district, schools are pretty good, and it's between the mountains and Lexington. My cousin had a farm east of Winchester that had a view of the mountains on 2 sides of the horizon.
now my favorite animal i knew was there this made my day crazee cat lady! thank you all for your input im from cleveland ohio an will be visiting soon!
we are looking at retiring around the Paintsville area. Our daughter and her family lives in Hagger Hill area
We'd be coming from washington state area. High conjestion. What we are looking for is a modest home at lest 4 acres.. We'd like the home to be off of a main road.
This seems to be an impossible situation as the area is built on the hill side.
also what does anyone know of Salyerville? crime etc

I recently came across the following data about Salyerville. 2010 population was 12,657. Racial makeup of the city was 99.33% Caucasian. I hope that helps!
