Hi everyone! I am in Kentucky this week for the NRA convention and have some time to kill before that weekend. I was wondering what areas or parts of Kentucky have the most horse farms. I work on a horse farm up north and I would like to see what the famous farms in Kentucky are like!

Thank you!!

The core horse farm area rings Lexington. From Louisville just take I-64 east and you'll run right into them just east of Frankfort. I'd recommend getting off at Exit 58 and then taking Old Frankfort Pike into Lexington.

I suggest, you chose two farms to visit, to take in the different cultures in training....some farms you cannot get near their horses & they are not people friendly, and others you can walk right up to them....pet them, etc....

very interesting!
