I don't think there was ever an actual threat of Kentucky truck closing.

Contrary to Trump tweets, Ford wasn't considering closing Kentucky auto plant | PBS NewsHour

How can we ever thank him? He hasn't even been sworn in yet, and he is already bringing back the jobs that never left.

And all those Coal Mine Jobs that he and Mitch McConnell promised...well McConnell is already
back pedaling on that, saying that they are Private Sector Jobs, and they might not be able to bring them back to the state.

Yeah last time I was in that plant which was about a year ago, Ford was just finishing putting a couple billion dollars in upgrades and renovations to it. I'm not pro or anti Trump here so I don't want intend to be critical of the man, but I do hope people don't fall too prey to the politics. Here in Grand Rapids they had to scramble to come up with a new plan for one of their rallies when the factory Donald Trump was going to visit was "too nice". Clearly they have an overly caricatured view of what really happens out in manufacturing country based on 1970's/80's stigmas. Not to surprising when you live in a NYC bubble, and have no need to understand the middle of the country prior to entering politics

Louisville/Kentucky has been a part of the Ford family for over 100 years. The vehicles they make in Jefferson County are among the highest selling, AND most profitable in the industry. It would take Ford Decades to recoup the costs of relocating any of that assembly. Anyone who tells you otherwise either has NO clue what they are talking about, or we are in the midst of an economic downturn worse that 2008

There were no plans to close the 2 Louisville Ford factories and move them to Mexico. Keeping the Lincoln MKG in Louisville could create more jobs if Ford Escape sales remain good. I really have no idea if Trump had anything to do with the decision, him taking all the credit seems like a stretch. He won't be president for another 2 months.

And I suppose when it rains next week and the fires go out, he's gonna tweet that it was because he told god to take care of it for him. And people will believe it.

Jesus, there's just no limit to the stupid things people will believe if they want to believe them badly enough.
