My scenario is that I would like to be a resident in the Florida and my wife prefers to stay a resident in Kentucky. What are the advantages and disadvantages . We are retired educators with state retirement in Ky :and stay approx six months in our home is n Florida and six in our Ky home . We are retired educators so we don't pay state tax on Ky retirement pay . However we belong to two Country clubs and are full members. They say that we have to be citizen of Fl to be part time member at club n Ky. Even though we are here six months . Pl axe advise me what you would do.

Drop one country club and count yourself fortunate. First world problems.
